FishFinest crew members are some of the best trained, hardest working individuals in the industry. Many have worked with our company for decades. We are proud of what we do, who we are, and how our company is run with integrity, dedication, responsibility, and a true commitment to quality. We have ten employees based in Seattle and 130 crew at sea every day. We have another 70 or so that rotate in on a seasonal basis throughout the year.

Retirement — 401(k)

 

Vessel crew are eligible to participate in our 401(k) program after 1 year and 1,000 hours of employment. 

If you are like most people, you want your retirement years to be carefree years.  We understand that it is hard to look that far ahead and perhaps some of you are new to FFI, but we take this very seriously.  Through this job, you have the stability through our schedule to plan ahead and have a reasonable idea of your fishing income.  The reward of a successful retirement takes careful planning:

  1. Set a goal - when you want to retire and how much you want to have financially

  2. Set a course through your 401(k) and perhaps other investments (discuss with Tara)

  3. Start saving pre-tax dollars through the Fishermen's Finest, Inc. 401(k) plan
