North to Alaska!

The U.S. INTREPID and AMERICAN NO.1 departed the Maritime Industrial Center (aka 'Old Coast Guard Dock') today (January 11th) en route to Dutch Harbor and the start of the 2012 fishing season (January 20th)

While the US INTREPID departed the dock at 1pm, she first went on successful Sea Trials outside of the Hiram Chittenden Locks in Puget Sound (Shilshole Bay to Point Wells), and then was joined by the AMERICAN No.1; she pulled away from the dock at just before 4pm.

Ms. Park and the FFI team was on the dock in the crisp clear January weather to bid the US INTREPID farewell; as the day progressed the team gathered again to send the AMERICAN No.1 off.

We are excited to start another year in the life of Fishermen's Finest and look forward to working together to have the safest, most productive season ever!  Our hearts and spirit from the FFI Seattle team are with our crew at sea and we wish you all the best.

Fishermen's Finest - a team of excellence - our name says it all...
