'A family that plays together, stays together' A group of Fishermen's Finest recently took advantage of time ashore to vacation together at the Greenbrier Golf Club in West Virginia.
A old adage that comes to mind when thinking of a family is 'a family that plays together stays together.' Fishermen's Finest is a team of family and friends and it shows. Last week a group of Fishermen's Finest from the F/V American No.1 and F/V US Intrepid vacationed together in West Virginia.
Pictured above are Chief Engineer Dave Kettrick, First Mate Darrin Eklund, Captain Scott Bryant and Chief Steward Jake Moyer, enjoying a round of golf on the Old White TPC at Greenbrier Resort.
A well deserved vacation with a group of people who work hard together towards a common goal. It is nice to see they enjoy each other's company off the vessel as well as on! As we say around here, 'life is too short to force a group of miserable people to work this hard together at sea for extended periods of time - if you're work is your passion as it is for our crew, it's not work, but a way of life.'
We take advantage of the time we have together, both for work and play and appreciate all that Fishing has provided for our crew at sea, shoreside office employees, family members, friends, and of course the millions of meals of top quality protein we produce each year, feeding the world.
Fishermen's Finest ~ a team of excellence ~ our name says it all.
