Go Hawks!

Go Hawks [& Good Fishing]!

The AMERICAN No1 sailed from the Maritime Industrial Center Saturday to start the 2014 Season.

We accomplished a lot in 2013 and look forward to even more in 2014. Our 5 year ABS (American Bureau of Shipping) Survey as well as our Annual US Coast Guard ACSA (Alternative Compliance Safety Agreement) inspection went off without a hitch - we are one of just a handful of vessels that voluntarily participates in both private sector 3rd party certification (ABS) as well as USCG ACSA.

Pictured above, the American No1 is entering the Hiram Chittenden Locks, sporting our 12th Man flag on the aft gantry.  Below, the American No1 is exiting the locks en route to Puget Sound and on to the Inside Passage and ultimately Dutch Harbor to meed up with sister vessel US Intrepid.

Here's to a Great Season and our Seahawk Pride - Pictured below deckhand Alesana Apelu hoists the 12th Man (fan) flag.

To top things off, D Day turned out to be a great day for the Seahawks at Century Link Field, where we beat the New Orleans Saints 23-15.
