Memorial Day

As we start the Memorial Day weekend, we at Fishermen's Finest would like to take a moment to reflect back on last year's celebration/memorial in Dutch Harbor - photo by Unalaska port of Dutch Harbor Convention & Visitor's Bureau.

Former Mayor (& current Fisheries Analyst) Frank Kelty and Mayor Shirley Marquardt lead the ceremonies as described in this article from last May in the Dutch Harbor Fisherman/Bristol Bay Times.

Memorial Day is particularly poignant in Unalaska, our primary port of operations during the year, as The Battle of Dutch Harbor took place there June 3-4 1942.

For Memorial Day, we would like to recognize those who have served our Country present and past and give thanks for their service to Country, evidenced by true dedication and patriotism.
