Reducing Impact

Fishermen’s Finest is committed to the stewardship of our nation’s resources. We support seafood sustainability and the precautionary resource management programs developed by our industry and the North Pacific Fisheries Management Council. Additionally, many of our products are harvested from fisheries which have been awarded certification under national and international programs recognizing seafood from sustainable and well-managed sources.

We believe that responsible fishery management is essential for the long term health of our fisheries, coastal communities and our business and is critical to ensure the future supply of quality fish for consumers around the world.

To that end, we’ve actively worked with industry, the National Marine Fisheries Service, and our vendors to advance our fishing practices, minimizing bottom contact, reducing bycatch, and increasing our fuel efficiency (lowering our carbon footprint)
