Duwamish River HUB

The Port of Seattle hosted a Maritime Career/Information Fair on Saturday, November 12th from 12-4 pm at the Duwamish River Community HUB in South Park. It was a great opportunity to connect residents from the Duwamish Valley with local employment opportunities and show them the types of jobs that exist in the Maritime industry. Terry Robertson and Kristian Uri represented Fishermen’s Finest at the Port of Seattle event.

Terry and Kristian were happy to share the good work of CEO Helena Park and the #FishFinest FFamily at the event on a beautiful Fall Saturday in South Park.

Fishermen’s Finest was in good company with the Washington State Ferries, NOAA - National Oceanographic and Atmospheric Association, the Maritime Highschool, Port of Seattle Police Department, and the University-National Oceanographic Laboratory System (UNOLS), among others in attendance.

It was a good mix of maritime options for Duwamish Valley residents.
