Kyle Sandwick 10 Years

Fishermen’s Finest took a moment on June 22, 2021 to recognize Kyle Sandwick for ten years of service. Kyle was at FishFinest MUK (our Mukilteo warehouse and pandemic operations office) for his Abbott ID NOW PCR test and Kristian Uri presented him with a gift from Ms. Park - our customary Omega Seamaster ‘James Bond’ self winding watch.

Kyle was recruited in Portland Oregon, right out of High School in 2011. He started out as a fish processor aboard the US Intrepid. In 2013, Kyle made his way to deckhand on the US Intrepid and night bosun in 2018.

When America’s Finest joined the Fishermen’s Finest Fleet #FFleet in 2019, Kyle moved over as deckhand and all told has been with us for 10 years. He just flew up to Dutch Harbor today (June 23rd) to join the vessel as Deckboss.

As full-time night bosun with a few Deckboss trips during the year, Kyle is a valued member of the Fishermen’s Finest team #FFamily. With FFI support, Kyle recently completed his first Mate classes at Columbia Pacific Maritime in Portland, Oregon.
