Carlos Garza celebrates 10 years

My wife and I have been together since high school, struggling until we met you, Ms. Park
— Carlos Garza

Kirkland, March 15, 2023. Ms. Park presents Carlos with his 10-year watch; his daughters Gabriela, Carla, and Xitali.

Good people are the key to our success and there is none better than Carlos Garza.

Carlos’ Fishermen’s Finest career started aboard the American No.1 as a fish processor back in 2010. He advanced to factory manager and then moved to the engine room as an oiler.

When America’s Finest joined our fleet in 2019, Carlos was chosen to move over and teach the new crew how to operate the Fishermen’s Finest way and get the vessel up to snuff. He did a great job and was promoted from the factory to the engine room, where he is pursuing his United States Coast Guard chief engineer’s license.

As is customary at Fishermen’s Finest, in recognition of 10 years of service, Ms. Park presents our crew with a gift from her - an Omega Seamaster ‘James Bond’ self-winding watch. We are proud of you, Carlos, and your future is bright. Keep up the good work and to everyone out there reading this, if you see Carlos on the boat, dock, shipyard, or at the Kirkland Headquarters, please be sure to recognize him for a job well done.
