10 Years James Kinsey

We celebrated James Kinsey and his 10 years of service to Fishermen’s Finest today, July 12, 2023 at our Kirkland Headquarters

Ms. Park presents James Kinsey with his Omega Seamaster watch and Certificate of Appreciation

This is the toughest job I’ve ever had but the most rewarding also - Rewards come with hard work
— James Kinsey

On May 15, 2013, James Kinsey attended a Maritime Career fair put on by the Port of Seattle at Pier 66 - luckily, Fishermen’s Finest was participating in the event and James liked what he heard from us.

He was hired shortly thereafter as a Fish Processor aboard the American No.1. With a good attitude and dedication, James worked his way up to Factory Technician in 2016. Working consistently in that role until 2021, James then took the opportunity to transfer over to America’s Finest as a Fish Processor.

He quickly moved his way up to assistant Factory Technician on America’s Finest and in 2022, he was promoted to one of the main Factory Techs, rotating time at sea and ashore with another long term member of the crew, Sviataslov Koba.

James calls Butte, Montana home; home that is, when he is not at sea aboard America’s Finest. We are thankful James made his way to the Port of Seattle event that we were participating in and that he liked what he heard. Obviously, we liked what we saw in James - a positive attitude, good work ethic, and fine person overall.

Thanks for being part of the FFamily, James, enjoy your Omega Seamaster “James Bond” watch, a gift from Ms. Park to commemorate the occasion.
