22 Years Bret Henry

Circling back to recognize our long-time employee Bret Henry for 20 years of service to Fishermen’s Finest. Bret was recognized by Ms. Park at our Kirkland Headquarters today and gifted his 20-year Rolex Date Just Submariner watch, a couple of years delayed (he has worked here for 22 years now and we have been on a waiting list through the pandemic and the Rolexes continue to be in high demand and difficult to source).

First Mate Bret Henry and CEO Ms. Park - Fishermen’s Finest Headquarters May 31, 2023

U.S.C.G. First Mate Bret Henry started out as a fish processor aboard the Bristol Enterprise (now U.S. Intrepid) in 1989. Over the years he worked his way up to Factory Manager, Deckhand, Bosun, and First Mate.

Bret joined the U.S. Intrepid under Fishermen’s Finest in 2001 (we acquired the vessel in 1997 from Tyson Seafood). Currently, he has spent most of his time as First Mate primarily aboard the U.S. Intrepid but has been aboard the American No.1 as well, since achieving his U.S.C.G. First Mate’s License.

As the sentiment in the Certificate of Appreciation says,

In Recognition of Valuable Contributions to Fishermen’s Finest Inc.

THANK YOU

For an Excellent 20 Years!

All of us at Fishermen’s Finest are proud of Bret’s accomplishments on and off the vessel and wish him many more years of success. He has had his son and three of his nephews working aboard FFI vessels over the years so it has truly been a FFamily affair. If you see Bret around the boat, in the office, or shipyard, please be sure to recognize him for a job well done.
