Pictured above, Kristian Uri presents Emanuel with a Swiss Army Watch - a gift from Ms. Park to recognize his five years of service to Fishermen’s Finest

Emanuel started aboard our flagship vessel, AMERICAN NO.1, working in the Bering Sea and Gulf of Alaska. He was a fish processor for one contract, where he primarily broke freezers and stacked the freezer hold.

On his second contract, Emanuel went aboard the AMERICAN NO.1’s sister ship, US INTREPID. There he was a freezer rat for two trips and then was promoted to Combi-Deckhand. He stayed in this role for a couple of contracts and got a taste of working on deck as well as in the factory

In 2022, Emanuel was asked to come over to AMERICA’S FINEST as a cook, working with long-time Chief Steward, Jake Moyer. He was an assistant cook for one contract and then moved up to rotate with Jake as the alternate Chief Steward aboard the vessel.
